The Crochet Blanket.

Is growing little by little. Not looking forward to weaving the ends in, had better start doing them every day I think. 

Hope to finish the row I am on before Play Group. But not sure I will as I really need to make myself a cup of coffee before I head out. 

While we were in the garden yesterday this beautiful blue and black butterfly flew around us for a while.

Sitting on my poorly avocado tree. The tree is losing all it's leaves. Not sure why. I grew this from seed so would be sad to lose it.

Anyway had better go and boil the kettle, cup of coffee anyone?

My Husband Ordered A Crochet Rabbit.

His work colleague's wife has just had a baby, so we bought a cute little outfit and I popped a crochet rabbit in too. 

I used this pattern from Craftster. I have used this pattern before and still like it it is a quick gift to make for someone special.

My 4mm Hook is Missing...

And I am sure I had more than one ! Of course I can find lots of 3.5 s or 4.5 s sigh....

Will have to pop to Spotlight this weekend. 

My first pumpkins out of my garden...

A bit annoyed as they were supposed to be spaghetti squash, I bought the seeds off eBay and they are not spaghetti squash I am not sure what they are though! 

Do you know what they are and the best way to cook them? 

Crocheting While the Toddler Sleeps.

Working on the blanket. Georgina fell asleep while I was running on the treadmill. Her play group was successful and tired her out. So crocheting while waiting for her to wake up.

My Interpretation of a Mood Blanket.

Not really a mood blanket, as I am trying to use it as a stash buster. Trying to do a row a day as it has almost 400 stitches per row.

So I am trying to be random in colour choice but that isn't really working right now!

Anna-Kate's Crochet Bag.

Sitting on our balcony trying to get this bag finished. It is just like knitting lots of garter stitch and gets quite boring! But almost there. 

Now off to swim with Georgina as she is nagging me! Apparently she is very hot and bored ! 

Another Gift Flying off to the UK.

A project bag for friend in the UK. I hope it arrives in time for her birthday.

I am including the sock yarn as she is a knitter!

Finished except for embroidering the eyes and nose on.

Used Umbrella Prints remnants for my bear. 

I would liketo try to make a bigger, fatter one next. Using up my fabric scraps.

Not Today's Work.

But this is how I managed to try to control Georgina's hair today.

The only way to get her to keep the clip in was to let her choose the crocheted flower from my basket of flowers. 

Sewing Teddy Bear Arms.

Sat on the top step (wollowing?) stitching teddy bear arms. While watching Georgina swim. And now she sleeps shhhhh xxxxxx

A Headless Teddy Bear.

The teddy bear is progressing. I attached the legs this morning (instead of hoovering!). 

I am working on the arms. Have eight hexagons to join together for the arms. The head is a mix of hexagons, pentagons and squares. 

Waiting for my husband to get home with a new to us swing set for Georgina. So we can get outside more to weed the veggie patches
