I will be crafting today.

The quilt along, is getting closer so I have some preparation to do.

My eldest daughter has requested that I sew her friends some bags for their birthdays this week, one has been made one has been cut out and is waiting for me to sew it up.

I also have to pack for my son's trip to Canberra. He is off for the week and will be missed.

Back to My Youth.

I am going to be colouring this sheet in for the QAL. Have counted my plain colour FQs so am ready to colour. That is if my little Georgina lets me!

I have been working on Luke's Union Jack needle work canvas, as it is quite big it is taking up a lot of my time.

Can not wait to start the QAL.

When I am Not Sewing.

A Gift for my Eldest Daughter.

Following on from my entry into the trimmings competition held by Umbrella Prints I wanted to try out an idea bouncing around in my mind. This idea will evolve into next years entry.

My Art Wall.

It has been a long weekend here in Australia. I have not had much craft time as house work and beach outings were calling me a little louder.

I managed to hang a few more pictures on my lounge wall.

Tomorrow I will be able to do some sewing upstairs in my craft room as we have fenced off the area Georgina loved to investigate.

G is for Georgina.

Think I need to step away from the pink embroidery thread! The next letter must be rainbow again I think. 

On to H. And no more birds for a while either. 

Fabric Choices for My First Quilt Along.

A work in progress, my autumnal stash. Just seeing what I would need to buy to pull the fabrics together. Think the contrast fabric will be chocolate brown. What do you think?

My First Quilt-a-long.

Today I decided to take part in a quilt a long.

Very exciting and a very good excuse to buy more fabric.

F is Finished.

F is for flowers though strictly I am not strictly sticking to that theme as A was a bird! 

So now onto G, something special for Georgina . She likes animals - dogs, cats and birds mainly. But she is only one so has no voice yet. 

We will see what the pencil draws this evening.

E is for ...

This weekend I managed to squeeze in a few stitches and finished off the E. I am about half way through the F but household chores are getting in the way of stitching today.
