Hexagon Broach.

Using http://umbrellaprints.com.au  I made a tiny broach for a friend.
What do you think? Her favourite colours are red, turquoise and other blues.

Sorry about the sun, photo snapped just before the older two went to school.

I will be sending this cowl with the broach,

It is doubled up here, but turquoise and blue appear in it.

I hope to make a knitting project bag this weekend if all goes well. Xxxxxx

Coming Together Slowly, Very Slowly.

Teeny tiny hexagons and pentagons being stitched together, only do one or two a day as I need bright light for the tiny stitches. Plus am crocheting a bag for back to school on Wednesday.

Back to Patchwork.

Spent a morning or two cutting out freezer paper.

The ironing the hexagons onto my fabric and cutting them out.

All that is left of my fabric are these scraps.

My secret project is growing.

But today is a day for housework.... Sigh....

Life Suddenly got Very Busy!

Christmas has been and gone, as has New Year and my youngest's birthday. I am now mum to a two year old (again!) the adventures begin!
My annual attempt at getting a photo of all the children was done on Georgina's birthday as has become our tradition.
Here they are,

So I hope that you all had a lovely crafty Christmas and hope that 2014 brings you health and happiness.

More crafts to come from me hopefully xxxxxx
