Eight, Seven and Six Days Until Christmas.

We went to the beach this week and decided while there I needed to crochet a backpack, to keep my hands empty to chase this little person...

So I began my back pack today...

Nine Days Until Christmas.

Today I decided to stitch a picture. Missed my stitching, and wanted to draw boats and the sea again.

Won't finish it today though. My son has his year 6 formal dance tonight, so won't get much stitching done. And Georgina doesn't look like a nap is happening anytime soon!

Ten Days Until Christmas.

Ten days until Christmas is a bit of a cheat. I had already made the body of the bag, but the bag is now completed. Ready as a gift should I need a spare. Off to make pom poms while little one sleeps xxx 

11 Days Until Christmas.

Managed to finish this basket for the youngest while she was out with her Dad, I suspect they were out Christmas shopping. It is all very exciting! 

Twelve Days Till Christmas.

I made a very purple cat for my eldest daughter. Her new favourite colour now she has gone through the pink, then lilac then blue phase.

This year is very exciting, less than one week until school finishes and in one week my husband finishes work for a while, watch out beach here we come! 

Crochet Cats.

Been busy crocheting cats and cottages. Now working on a baby basket. All for stocking fillers. Can not believe that there are only 13 sleeps until Christmas!

15 Days Until Christmas.

Finished the third Christmas stocking a couple of days ago. All hung up and ready for the visit from Father Christmas.

All very exciting to see Christmas through the eyes of a two year old again.

Today I am crocheting some cats as stocking fillers.

One Crochet Blanket.

Nearing completion, still want to add more rounds so it keeps him warm and snugly over winter.

My younger two having a laugh. Spent Sunday weaving in ends on this blanket and on my older daughter's blanket, not my favourite job! 

Proud mummy moment, last night Luke received an award, for hard work and generally being a good scout. 

Crochet Christmas Fairy.

Not the best photo as it is wet and stormy outside, so very grey inside. I hope to add to this collection as she was fun to make and easy to personalise. Today I want to make a gnome I think.... We will see. Have to entertain a tired toddler today, she was awake at 4:45 this morning she lay fairly quietly until 5:15 ish but we are oh so tired today!

Tidied my mantle to get it ready for Christmas decorations.

The flowers are from my garden for a friend who I have not seen since she had a baby girl almost six weeks ago!

So off we go, out visiting. No time for crafting this morning! 

Sewing in Ends.

Stitching in ends today and joining squares together. Perfect task for this stormy wet day we are having.

One of the many projects I am working on. I have far too many irons in the fire at the moment. Need to complete some projects before creating new work!

Taking a Stitching Break to Crochet up a Storm!

I take part in a Secret Santa every year. So this year I am crocheting most of my gift. 

The first part of the present is flower bunting. Today I will be working on a granny square bag, my own design.  We will see how it turns out! 

Off for a run now before the day heats up.

These feathered creatures woke us up, they were after my sunflowers.

Working on W today. Then just three more to do.

Have a big project to begin, but maybe after Christmas. We shall see.

Can not find my double sided tape, so took the picture outside to take a photo of it.  I can never find things if I tidy up!

Alphabet Update.

In between a little house work and child care, I will be stitching.

I really need to be an octopus as I have so many ideas in my head. 

Must plant some sage and lettuce today too.

R is already up on Georgina's bedroom wall. I have just finished letter S. Going to eat dinner then onto T. Not sure what I am inspired to draw... Will have a browse on Pinterest I think.

Amigurume! Very exciting. It is a present from me to me on my birthday!

I will hopefully be working on this when Georgina is asleep. She is learning to sleep in her own bed so I have a short hour or so child free.

I also have a speech to co-write for my son, just on a supervisory basis you understand!

Good Morning.

Taken from my balcony, facing my back garden. I often sit on the balcony and craft.

What I Have Been Working On Today.

I have been working on two canvases today. I managed to finish the little one today while Georgina was sleeping. 

The larger one will still take some time.

More stitching, crocheting and gardening to come this week. I hope.

Have Been Poorly.

So have not been very crafty.

I had to pop into hospital to have an ovary removed. Ouch. But enough about that, it was not a great experience!

This is a granny square blanket for my son, for Christmas. It is huge, but not yet big enough. His favourite colour is green.

At the same time I am making one for my oldest daughter, her favourite colour is purple, followed closely by pink. This is all I have had the energy to do really.

Apart from this I have been watering my garden. It is growing nicely. Hopefully soon I will have some pretty sunflowers to photograph.

The Alphabet Has Not Been Forgotten.

The O is the moon. Off outside to garden today, so not sure if I will get started on the P we will see.
